Yesterday Microsoft hit the $1 trillion market capital.
The company we all know was founded 44 years ago, on April 4, 1975 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States.
44 years in the business, for a tech company, is a huge deal. When you think about it, they survived the Dot-com bubble. Not many did. They started a business a mission – to bring a PC to every home, in times where that was a ludicrous thought. All that with the help of their software, MS-DOS, now Windows.
And here I am today, listening to my morning dose of motivation on YouTube, writing this blog post, while at the same time looking at the news online. And all this with the help of this fascinating machine – the computer. All this from my comfy chair, at home, using Windows 10. We live in extraordinary times!
Quote of the day:
All you can do is all you can do but all you can do is enough!

It’s fascinating how a company of two nerds became a company that exists in almost every single home on the planet in some way or another. A company of two which is now a company with 140 000 employees.
A company that started from here
To now be here
I’ll end this post with a photo of the first 11 employees at Microsoft, captured in 1978 and ask you “Would you have invested?”.
